Bartram Trail

Presently, the recently constructed portion of this trail runs between Hamburg and Auburn; this project is being overseen by the Schuylkill River Greenway Association, under the PA Dept. of Conservation and Natural Resources.

Access for the trail and parking is located at the monument at Kernsville Dam.

Various other trails and educational opportunities will coincide with the Bartram trail project.

Upon completion, this trail will connect north and south - over 27 miles between Pottsville to Reading.

The ultimate, long-term plan is to connect trails as far as Valley Forge.
