Garafalo’s Calabria Old World Italian Cuisine of Ephrata will be on-site with their food truck featuring authentic Italian dishes and desserts.
This basic basket is woven with 1/2″ orange rattan and decorated with X-ed Cane (smocking). It is 8″ and is comprised of start and stop weaving with a traditional rim. This cute basket can be decorative and hung on the wall or can be a service basket and used for storage. This orange pumpkin has reed tendrils and raffia. Cane is used for contrasting smocking. Always an eye-catching favorite! The basket is beginner level skills but weavers of all skills are welcome. Cost is $40 per participant and includes all materials.

Time to BE LOUD! STOMP! is a renowned percussion show, and the Hamburg Strand Theater is honored to host an eight-part workshop for teens to fill the stage with their own unique, energizing beat! No sitting still. No being quiet. Music can be made with anything, anywhere! Drummers, dancers, and energetic souls needed. Cost includes seven workshops and a final production for family and friends. Space filling fast!

Join us for an evening of fun and seasonal activities! There will be wine tastings at various downtown businesses, refreshments, activities, door prizes, live music, and shopping. The self-guided tour starts at the Art and Craft Gallery of Hamburg where you can buy tickets and get your guidebook. Here you may also sign up for a Haunted Hamburg Ghost Tour, a 45-minute stroll through downtown Hamburg hearing about the town’s ghostly happenings. The Ghost Tours start at 6 pm and 7 pm. Tickets for the wine tastings and included activities are $10. Tickets for wine tastings and ghost tour are $13. Tickets are available in advance by calling 610-562-3106.
Eric appropriately chose October to showcase his fantastical art of bold, spooky characters. Highlighting the scary and oftentimes funny elements of dreams and folklore, Eric paints his characters in rich colors and impossible shapes, forming creatures that are not of this world. You may meet Eric at this special reception which will also include wine tasting and refreshments at the Art & Craft Gallery of Hamburg, 335 State St., Hamburg.
As a member of the Hamburg Area Arts Alliance, Kathy is the Featured Artist during the month of October. She is celebrating the release of the fourth book, “Chippy Chipmunk Feels Empathy,” in her series of Chippy Chipmunk books. Kathy will be signing books and offering a free gift with the book’s purchase. Chippy Chipmunk will also be here to pose for pictures! Don’t miss this fun event!
