Here at the Reading & Northern, we are not much into buzzwords or the latest trends like “re-engineering” or “TQM” or fancy mission statements. Our philosophy is really pretty simple. We aim to give our customers the best possible service we can and that means doing what we say we’ll do, and we want to do it in a way that doesn’t get anyone hurt. In the process, we want to control costs (control, not necessarily cut) because we hope to make a buck at this, and we hope to have a little fun. That’s our philosophy, and it is all done through people.
